Don't plan to get a beer, and traffic was insane
Even without kids, this event was terrible. Music was great, but the beer and parking situations were ridiculous. For this kind of money they should be giving you freebee's. If you plan to bring kids don't even bother. There were two areas to buy beer, each with a 30-40min line to get in. You have to be inside the beer area to drink your beer. By rule, if you have a kid with you, you can't get a beer. Ridiculous. My wife and I were there with our two kids for 6 hours and never had a beer. You have to be 21 to get in, and YOU CANT LEAVE WITH A BEER.
We left the festival right around closing time at 7:30pm. All told, it took two full hours to get out of the venue. Parking: we sat in our car for 1:45 before we moved an inch. No thanks, never again. Go to Fresh Grass instead.
